I'm a 40 something woman who started in radio back when we played records! Yikes! This doesn't mean I'm not a gadget girl as I could probably change my name to iLori as I have an iPod touch, iPhone, Macbook Pro and an iPad. Not that I have any of these things in my possession half the time as my kids are playing Club Penguin or listening to me on iheartradio (grab the app now!). My twins are 8 years old and we're also proud parents of a greyhound and chiquaqua that barks everyone away from the front door. I started in radio because I love music and people and how the two interact. Lyrics move me, literally sometimes, and hopefully get you through the day as well. The $1000 Easter Egg
I have loved Easter my whole life. I'm not sure if it's the chocolate, the egg hunts or the Easter bunny I love most, or just the whole thing? One thing I DO love is Peeps. Oh my word, they are awesome!! If you're not like me though and think Peeps and Cadbury Creme Eggs are too low rent for your Easter-candy-loving-tastebuds, get them -- and your wallet -- to New York's U
pper West Side and the bakery called Sugar & Plumm. It's created a $1,000 chocolate egg with dark, milk and white chocolates along with marzipan flowers, ladybugs, and what look like Angry Birds. A grand ain't peep, uh, cheap, but the egg does weigh 22-pounds and stands 3-feet-tall.
