I'm a 40 something woman who started in radio back when we played records! Yikes! This doesn't mean I'm not a gadget girl as I could probably change my name to iLori as I have an iPod touch, iPhone, Macbook Pro and an iPad. Not that I have any of these things in my possession half the time as my kids are playing Club Penguin or listening to me on iheartradio (grab the app now!). My twins are 8 years old and we're also proud parents of a greyhound and chiquaqua that barks everyone away from the front door. I started in radio because I love music and people and how the two interact. Lyrics move me, literally sometimes, and hopefully get you through the day as well. Falling 45 Feet - YIKES!
A 17-year-old in Santa Fe, New Mexico, just wanted to throw a snowball at his friends. While sitting in a ski slop chairlift. 45 feet off the ground. The 17-year-old must have thrown so hard that he knocked himself off the seat, dangled from the chairlift for a bit, then fell. Luckily they put skilifts over snowy mountains and, despite an ambulance ride the the hospital, he was OK. I'm betting he doesn't throw anymore snowballs anytime soon....

The Hair OH NO!
I lived in Texas for over 10 years as a teenage girl and beyond so it's ingrained in me that hair is a THING. As in, hair must look good and occasionally BIG, just for fun. This poor girl, she's giving a how-to video on how to curl your hair and the result, I would have cried, right there on camera.

Kids Say The Darndest Things
I've always loved the funny things my kids say. I love it so much that more often than not, I will not correct them when they say something incorrectly. My son Jaden uses the letter f instead of p a lot. He'll say he has a "cafe" instead of a cape (though he stopped this at about age 5). He still says though that he's POOFED at the end of a long day, instead of pooped. It cracks me up.
